What Bill Glover
had to say about his stay!!
On September 21, 2009 my wife and I were driving in New Brunswick,
Canada on a fiftieth wedding anniversary trip that would take us to
Prince Edward Island and then on to Nova Scotia. The Dear Lord led
us to stop at the Holiday Inn Express Airport Dieppe that September
evening and while there we received an awesome blessing. After
checking in as a Priority Club Member, we asked the desk clerk,
Natasha, about a place to eat and she recommended a nearby
restaurant and said we could ride there and back in their courtesy
van. As we were leaving, Natasha learned that we were celebrating
our fiftieth wedding anniversary with our trip to Nova Scotia.
After eating and upon returning to the motel, we learned we were
being given a room upgrade, at the same price as our original room.
We were asked to wait a few minutes until our room was ready before
taking up our luggage and belongings which we gladly did.
We were given room 313. When we opened the door to this room, we
discovered it contained a king-size bed, a Jacuzzi tub on which
were two white robes, a separate walk- in shower, a microwave and
refrigerator, and a corner imitation fireplace. Two large cushioned
chairs, facing each other, were in that corner. On a small table at
the entrance to the room was a tray containing a bottle of wine,
candy, a deck of Romance Conversation cards, a Let’s dice,
and a bag entitled “Fruit and Passion.” An envelope
addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Glover was on the tray. Inside was a card
which read, “Mr. and Mrs. Glover, Happy 50th Anniversary! We
hope you enjoy your stay at the Holiday Inn Express Airport Dieppe.
If you need anything at all, please contact us at the front desk at
any time. Sincerely, Lisa Rice, Manager on Duty.” We
immediately went down stairs and thanked Lisa and Natasha for their
kindness and thoughtfulness.
